Renting a
jetski without a boater’s license:
You can rent a jet ski without a boater’s license, however,
you must operate the jetski within New York State Law which
states the jetski rental must remain within view of our
launch location at the southern end of the lake and have a
representative from Keuka Watersports be present at all
times during the rental period to ensure safe jetski
operation. The operator must be a minimum of 16 years of age
to operate and have an 18yr old sign for legal
responsibility. Any age person can ride as a passenger.
Guided Tour Excursions available without a boater’s license.
Most of our jetski rental customers do not have licenses and
spend a few hours enjoying jetskiing and relaxing at Depot
Park which is located at the head of the lake in
Hammondsport. There is a large grassy area for play,
benches, swimming section with lifeguards, restrooms, and a
grocery store and restaurants one block up the street. |
